The Transvulcania 2014 Training Camp will be held on May, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in Fuencaliente under the direction of Timothy Olson and Anna Frost.
From May 2nd to 4th, the Transvulcania 2014 Training Camp will be held in Fuencaliente. A good ocassion not only to learn some technical aspects to improve your ultrarunning training but to get to know some specifications and particularities of Transvulcania Judging from the direction of this training camp, Anna Frost (female winner in 2012) and Timothy Olson, there is no doubt that this training camp will be a super one. They will not only explain some technical details to take into account when running but they will share with you their own personal experience as elite runners Besides, an expert in sport medicine will explain how the body reacts, responses when racing a tough race as Transvulcania. And a trainer, specialized in training for mountain races, will give some tips concerning training for this type of races with a view to successfully complete Transvulcania 2014 There is a limited amount of participants: 45. The 100 € participation fee includes: accomodation (half-pension, including lunches on Saturday and Sunday in the specific training sites); coach transport from Santa Cruz to the Princess hotel on Friday afternoon and back on Sunday, after having lunch. Online entries and full programme will be available on Monday, April, 7th on the official website: http://www.transvulcania.com theorical explanations as well as runs and coach transfers to the places where the latter will take place. However, if you are interested in taking part in some specific sessions of the training camp, you are allowed to register at them. Every single session costs 25 € and they will be held on Friday afternoon, on Saturday morning, on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday morning.
