The best runners of the Canary Islands will not miss the best
Canarian race

With less than a month left for the beginning of the tenth edition of the
Transvulcania Naviera Armas, the Canarian elite-runners are confirming their
participation at the different modalities of the race.

Some of the runners that have confirmed their participation at the Ultramarathon are, for example, Tini García (the best Canarian runner of the last edition of the UTMB), Mariló González (reigning champion of the Canary Cup Ultra 2017) or Basilio Labrador (two-times athletics World Championship runner up).

At the modality of the Marathon, runners like Esteban García (Champion of the Canary Cup 2016 and 2015 and winner of the Transvulcania’s Marathon in 2014), Juan José Rodríguez (runner up in the Marathon of 2016) or Yasmina Castro (Canary Champion of mountain-races “Promesa” in 2017), are going to represent the Canary Islands at this year’s Marathon.

At the Half-Marathon, the fans will see great runners like Ana Begoña González Francisco (first Canarian runner at last year’s Ultramarathon), María del Mar Rodríguez (second Canarian runner at the Half-Marathon in 2017) or Alex Rodríguez Tynninen (third at the Canary Cup of Vertical races in 2017).

And last but not least, at the Vertical Kilometre modality, we are going to see runners like José Luis Hinojosa (Canary Champion of Vertical races in 2016), Maria José Díaz (second Canarian runner at the Vertical Kilometre in 2017) or Yurena Sanfiel (third Canarian runner at the VK of 2017). Other runners like Alex Rodríguez Tynninen, Francisco Manuel Rodríguez Martín and Ana Begoña González, who already are going to run the Half-Marathon, are also going to compete at the Vertical Kilometre.
